The Bremen Research Cluster for Dynamics in Logistics (LogDynamics), established in 1995, offers interdisciplinary research in logistic areas and a focused, structured and international doctoral programme at the University of Bremen. The research cluster combines fundamental and application-oriented research with transfer and teaching at the interface between science and economy. Through the combination of research approaches from an economic, information technology and technical production point of view, LogDynamics focuses on the interdisciplinary cooperation for the solution of logistic problems.
LogDynamics extends its interdisciplinary competence in the areas research, education, application and dissemination.
In the field of education the International Graduate School for Dynamics in Logistics (IGS) offers the opportunity to take part in an efficiently-structured doctoral training programme. Excellent researchers from all over the world are enabled to finish their education at a logistic location of long standing tradition. The LogDynamics lab conducts research in the area of application of new key technologies for complex processes in production and logistics. Together with our partners we develop practical solutions. LogDynamics contributes to the profile development of an excellent and modern University of Bremen. In the context of dissemination, the bi-annual LDIC is an exchange platform for logistic excellence. It provides new approaches to dynamic aspects of logistics and brings together top-class researchers from all over the world.
